Rental DurationBoth in USA and Canada there is a maximum rental duration that car rental companies are allowed to rent cars and this varies from state to state. Many states the maximum duration is 28 days but notably in California and Florida it is 56 days It is permitted to have rentals booked to follow on from one another and so we would ask you to resubmit your request for a shorter duration followed by another request for the remainder of your duration. This may not be as straight-forward as it sounds as you may be required to call into the rental office to close the first agreement and collect the second rental contract. If it. is not the same location you may incur one-way charges . If you are concerned about any aspect of this, please send us an email or phone us to discuss it with us so that we can book the car in the most advantageous way. Tip: When collecting your car tell the rental agent about the second booking. Whilst it is not usually possible, sometimes both agreements can be made up at the same time which would mean that you do not have to visit the rental office to close one contract and receive a new contract during the rental.
